3.2 Review notifications and advisories

Ok2Fly filters notifications and advisories for the selected pilot type and planned or current flight time.

Open notifications and advisories

Select Notifications on the map. The badge shows the unread-notification count.

Open Open Options Sidebar > SERVICES > Notifications & Advisories.

Use the Notifications and Advisories tabs to change lists. Displayed validity and expiry times are local.

Change the flight time before opening the lists when you need to review notices for a later operation. Ok2Fly filters the displayed information for the selected time and pilot type.

Read and mark a notification

1. Open Notifications.
2. Read the title, message and expiry.
3. Select More info or More Info when a supporting link is available.
4. Select Mark as read or Mark As Read. A tick identifies the read notification.

The unread badge updates after the notification is marked.

Review an advisory on the map

Android Apple Web

1. Open Advisories.
2. Read the advisory name, message, validity and Action: value.
3. Select Zoom or Fly-To Advisory to close the list and fit the advisory area on the map.
4. Recheck the proposed flight location and read any related result conditions.

An advisory may require action even when it is not a blocking result. Read its full text and confirm the current official source before operating.
