4.3 Manage airspace authorisations

Use the authorisation list to check the current status and take only the action available for that operation.

Open the authorisation list

Android Apple Web
Apple

Open Mission Manager > Authorisations.

The list can show identifiers, reference, start and end times, update time and a status such as Pending, Approved, Rejected, Active, Expired, Complete or Cancelled. An active record can also show time remaining.

Respond to an authorisation status change

Android Apple Web

Refresh the list and confirm the current status before the operation. A previously approved request can be rejected after an overlapping advisory, temporary restriction or service configuration change.

If a status or condition changes, stop relying on the earlier approval, review the new information and run the flight check again. Proceed only when the current authorisation and all applicable requirements permit the operation.

Cancel a future authorisation

Android Apple Web

Use Cancel only for an authorisation that has not started. Confirm the target identifier and time before accepting any confirmation prompt.

Complete an active authorisation

Android Apple Web

Use Complete after the operation has begun and ended early. The action becomes available only after the minimum active period applied by the service and before expiry.

WARNING

Completing an authorisation tells the service that the authorised operation is finished. Confirm that the operation has actually ended before continuing.

Delete an authorisation record

Android Apple Web

WARNING

Confirm the selected record and its status before deleting it. On Apple, deletion has no confirmation and can automatically cancel a future authorisation or complete an active authorisation.

Apple

Swipe the record from right to left and select Delete. Use Cancel or Complete directly when you need to retain the record of that action.

Operational information should always be verified against current regulations and official sources.
