2 Download Dynon maps, charts and data
After purchasing the required subscription, download the Dynon ZIP package from the AvPlan EFB website. The package contains the current AVDATA, obstacles, charts and plates.
- Sign in to AvPlan Web with the account used to purchase the Dynon subscription.
- Open Settings > Account > Subscriptions and locate the Dynon subscription card.
- Select Downloads at the top right of the card, then choose the required download from the menu. The button appears when downloads are available for the subscription.

WARNING
Copy the package to an empty FAT32 USB drive. Do not remove files from the package unless the procedure explicitly permits it.
Copy the package to the USB drive
- Download the specified ZIP file to the Windows computer and note where it is saved.
- Open File Explorer, locate the ZIP file and double-click it to show its contents.
- Extract the ZIP file, then open the extracted folder.
- Select every file and folder in the extracted package. To select a continuous list, click the first item, hold Shift, then click the last item.

You may omit the _MACOSX folder on Windows. Copy every other file and folder, including any items not shown in these examples.
WARNING
If Windows asks how to handle duplicate files, select Replace so the USB drive receives the current files.
- Drag the selected items to the USB drive in the File Explorer drive list.
- Wait for the copy to finish.
- Open the USB drive and confirm that its root directory contains the copied files and folders.
