7.4 Enable Dynon connectivity in AvPlan EFB

After connecting the Apple device to SkyView Wi-Fi:

1. Open AvPlan EFB.
2. Open Settings > External Devices > Dynon Status.

3. Turn on the Dynon connection switch.
4. Wait for AvPlan EFB to show information received from SkyView.

If the status does not update, confirm that the Apple device is still connected to SkyView Wi-Fi and that SkyView remains powered on.

Allow local network access

The first time AvPlan EFB uses the local Wi-Fi network, iOS or iPadOS asks whether the app may access devices on the local network. Select Allow.

If access was previously denied:

1. Open the Apple Settings app.
2. Select Privacy & Security > Local Network.
3. Turn on AvPlan EFB.

WARNING

Without local-network access, Dynon status may appear available because SkyView broadcasts its presence, but AvPlan EFB cannot open the connection needed to send a flight plan.
