7.4 Use company documents

Open a company document

Company documents are shown only when the signed-in account has access through an organisation or group.

1. Select Text.
2. Under Company Documentation, select a folder.
3. Select the document.
4. Wait for the document to load, then review it.

Opening a company document successfully records it as read.

Web

1. Select Text.
2. Select Company Documentation.
3. Expand the required company or group.
4. Select a folder.
5. Select a document row to open Preview.

Folder badges can show unread document counts. Controls for adding, editing or deleting content appear only for authorised roles.

Complete a read acknowledgement

Open the document and wait for it to load. AvPlan records the document as read after it opens successfully.

Web

For a notification-enabled folder:

1. Open the document in Viewer.
2. Review the complete document.
3. Scroll to the end when required.
4. Select Mark Read.

The document status can move through Unread, Ack and Read as the acknowledgement is completed.

WARNING

Opening or marking a document as read records an acknowledgement. Open an acknowledgement-controlled document only when you are ready to review it, then complete the review.
