9.5 Reminders

Set up logbook reminders

Web

Track activity, due dates and recorded qualifications on your dashboard, and choose when to receive reminder emails.

WARNING

Check that each reminder matches your aircraft, intended operation and applicable requirements. A reminder is an aid to keeping records; it does not establish your fitness, currency or authority to fly.

  1. Set Reminder timezone in Settings > Preferences > Logbook, then open Logbook > Reminders.
  2. Select Add, enter a Reminder name and choose Reminder type.
  3. Complete the requirements for that type using the table below. For activity-based reminders, open Entry filters to restrict the operation type or aircraft. Empty filters include all values; entries must match every filter you set.
  4. Enable Show on dashboard if you want the reminder displayed there.
  5. Enable Email reminders and choose days before, on the day or days after, with the number of days where applicable. Select Add email time for another notification.
  6. Select Save reminders. Check Saved condition, Due / becomes unmet and Next email after saving.

For Record expiry, first save the qualification under Medicals, Licences & ratings, Theory exams or Reviews & checks. You can also select Add reminder beside a saved record to start its linked reminder.

Reminders that previously assessed separate full-stop counts now use ordinary landing counts. Affected authority-derived reminders and presets are marked as Personal reminders. Existing reminder names, schedules and notification preferences remain, and their statuses are recalculated.

INFO

Activity projections assume no further flying, and drafts do not count. Emails are checked hourly after 09:00 in Reminder timezone. Dates displayed while you edit still reflect the last saved settings.

  2. Choose Authorities and Aircraft category, then complete the aircraft details.
  3. Select Import selected or Import all.
