Add a delay, remarks or notes

Use leg details when a waypoint needs an en-route delay, filing remarks or operational notes.

Android

1. Open Terminal for the flight-plan waypoint.
2. Select Leg Details. On a phone, select DTL.
3. Enter Delay in HHMM format.
4. Enter Pilot Remarks and Notes, as required.

Android displays the values with the selected leg. Do not rely on a delay or fuel edit to recalculate later fuel or ETA values automatically.

Apple

1. Select the waypoint in the flight-plan table.
2. In Terminal, open Leg Details.
3. Enter Delay in HHMM format.
4. Enter the activity description under Pilot Remarks.
5. Add any operational information under Notes.

Leg Details

The delay is included in the planned elapsed time. When the plan is submitted, AvPlan adds the applicable DLE/ and RMK/ entries; do not type those prefixes in Pilot Remarks.

1. Open the plan in Planning.
2. Select or right-click the waypoint row.
3. Select Edit Leg Details.
4. Enter Delay (minutes), Remarks and Notes, as required.
5. Select Save.

WARNING

Use the format and terminology required by the applicable briefing or filing authority. Remove unsupported characters before submitting the plan.

Review leg fuel

Leg Details shows:

• Planned Fuel On Board
• Actual Fuel On Board
• Planned Fuel Burn For Leg

Enter Actual Fuel On Board only when a reliable measured value is available. Android does not currently propagate this entry to subsequent planned fuel values.

Apple

Planned Fuel On Board and Planned Fuel Burn For Leg are calculated from the fuel plan and aircraft performance.

Enter Actual Fuel on Board when a reliable measured value is available. Leave it at zero when no actual value is being recorded.

Record actual arrival time

Android

Enter the actual time of arrival under ATA for the selected leg.
