Open or save a document

The document list shows Saved or Not Saved for each file.

1. Select a Not Saved document to download and open it.
2. Select a Saved document to open the local copy.
3. To remove a local copy, touch and hold a Saved document, then confirm the deletion.

To download several document collections, use Settings > Data Downloads > Other Downloads.

Apple

1. Select a collection, then select a document.
2. Wait for the document to download if it has not been opened on this device.
3. Review the document in the viewer.

Open each document required for offline use while the device has a reliable connection.

Web

1. Select a folder.
2. Select a document row to open Preview.
3. Use the viewer controls to zoom, rotate or move between PDF pages, where available.
4. To keep a local copy, open Options and select Download.

PDF files open in the PDF viewer and supported image files open as images. Other file types can show an Unsupported file warning.

WARNING

Before flight, open every file required offline and confirm that it is complete and current.

To find text within an open document:

1. Open the document actions.
2. Select Find Text….
3. Enter the search text.
4. Select a result to move to that location.

Where the document provides a table of contents, open the document actions and select the required section.

Web search filters the documents in the selected folder.

1. Select a folder.
2. Enter a name or other visible value in Search.
3. Select a matching row.
4. Clear Search to show every document in the folder again.

Use a column heading to sort when sorting is available. Use the rows-per-page control to change the number of rows shown.

Restore missing Web documents

1. Confirm that you are signed in with the intended account.
2. Refresh the page.
3. Reopen Text and select the folder again.
4. For company documents, confirm the group membership and role with a company administrator.

If a recently changed file does not open, refresh the folder and try Download from Options.
