Select a map
Select Map Selection to choose the map displayed in En Route.
Maps are grouped under Local Maps, which apply to the current GPS position, and All Maps, which contains the complete catalogue.
The download state for the maps is also displayed:
| Saved | The complete map is stored on the device. |
| Sections Saved | Selected regions are stored. Use Settings > Data Downloads to download another region. |
| Not Saved | No part of the map is stored. It may be viewed while online, but must be downloaded before it can be used without a data connection. |
Mega VFR combines WAC, VNC, VTC and VTC inset scales and selects the appropriate chart for the area and zoom level. It is the recommended default for most VFR flights.
Integrated charts do not show information printed in VTC margins. Download the relevant VTC under Text > Documentation and review its border notes before operating on a depicted visual route.
En Route Lo combines ERC-Lo and Terminal Area Charts across their available scales.
New Zealand subscribers can also display individual en route low charts to read notes and legends that are not visible in the combined chart.
